Hands down best team of all time Joey and Laca II!
Couple of reasons for this one,
a) They beat Bolivar and Gorrono in Tampa 15- 12
b) Laca II told me himself on the bench in the locker room at
Tampa, that no team could beat him and Joey if paired together.
I have to believe that legend of a player out of respect alone!
Side note, Bolivar and Gorrono did beat Joey and Laca II in Ocala
15 to 14, there was a lot of controversy with that partido on
game point, and if you ask Joey or Laca they got a bad deal from
the ref that made the difference, and that is a 100% true story.
Joey went on to beat Bolivar 3-0 during Partidos in the Tournament
of Champions in Florida/ and then 3 out of 4 during Partidos in
Milford, Conn for the record.
Never quite understood why they always announced Joey as the best
American player everywhere outside of Miami, where as in Miami
he was always announced as the Best in the game....period.
