The good old days Art !!! I always remember playing at aaja with you
Rastock, J.C, Drew, Hal, Bucci Boys,etc as a 10 year old on court 3!!!
Talking about working long hours. My senior year at Platt Tech started at
5 am went to school after school went to the machine shop to learn to
Become a tool and die maker (going to school for that) after the shop
Went to Milford Jai-Alai to work as Ballboy (Monday, Wednesday Friday,
Saturday nights every other Sunday ) practice every day I could there.
Then went home did my homework and tried to be in bed by 1am. I did
That for 3 months!!! Also help my father make CESTA too!!! Then got
Sign at Hartford in jan 88!!! Than it was school,machine shop drive to Hartford
Play drive home homework and bedtime untill HS graduation. And then
I did what you did work full time at machine shop and Jai Alai until
I quit playing in 92. Oh yeah I was STILL helping my father making
Cesta when I had time!!!! I 'll kept you in my prayer I wish you a speedy
Recovery !!! I know what you are going though father-in-law has the same
Problem!!! And loss my mother-in-law this past nov. 17 to cancer
My mentor has to be my father!! He taught Fred and myself how to play!!!!
