I will agree that as I changed frontons the rules changed. At Miami if your serve even touched the side wall first...the whistle was blown. At other frontons, different rules applied. I remember at Hartford management started allowing 'inside' serves that touched the side wall first...but still disallowed a full blown carom serve. But that might have changed after I only played there the first 3 seasons. Partidos I played in Miami and other frontons always allowed carom serves. I remember the first partido I ever played at Miami as an exhibition...Francisco - Zoqui II vs me - Pierre...1st year Pierre changed to back court...15 points...score was 14-14...I overserved for game point. No excuses...
