You could never be a very good or late game player without
picking off a few weak serves and killing the point fast. It is
very much a needed skill for a pro.
I can't see how any frontman could be a pro and hardly ever pick
off some serves and kill a few points with caroms and dejadas.
maybe not everbody is a Joey but you have to catch a decent amount
of serves even if you return the ball to the backcourt.
