Many, many years ago, at Orlando jai alai, a weekly article was printed in the program with varying highlights on the week. In the article, it was mentioned that Olea, a player who was subbing as a ref for this singles game, was the ref at the serving area. He said he saw player Bob serving the ball on a bounce beyond the serving area. He let it go once, but verbally warned Bob. Bob evidently ignored the warning and bounced the ball beyond the serving ling, and Olea then blew the whistle on Bob the 2nd time. The crowd was stumped...so was the announcer. Bob lost the point, and while the call was not popular amongst fans, it was stated the call was correct.
