Wow, a lot of good stuff in the "hall of fame." I
haven't read all of it, but I did read a good portion after I
clicked the link. Interesting to see the different opinions on
the same situations. The off court things are definitely interesting
and very cool to see from different points of view, and different
sides of the screen. Its nice to be able to read things I have
little to no knowledge of from seemingly all angles and form my
own opinions based off them. There are posts I question, disagree
completely with, some things I understand, some things I probably
dont have enough knowledge to fully understand the situations,
and some things thats make me wonder if the poster had 10 reasons
to make a post attacking the game, and if they realky feel that
way still. (10 too many beers, 10 too many lost bets?)
the most intruiging thing to me are the on court things, because
that is why I am on the site.
The power outages and a simultanious 'crack' on the
wall with everyone hitting the floor, court flooding, cestas breaking,
balls through screens, and stories of former frontons, players,
and why they played where they did. There seems to be a lot of
knowledge here from fans who have been around the game for a long
time, former (current?) players who played at multiple frontons
with a lot of different players. Its good that you keep these
posts alive for people like myself to read. I recall reading a
post that said "too bad it will be lost in the archives",
which is exactly the reason why this "hall of fame"
is perfect. Now I just hope I never run into the witch that sells
tickets (although the picture didnt load for me).
