It's amazing how "different" the canchas really are,
mostly I think because of the roof differences, which I will never
understand. At Miami, the netting above the court is VERY low
compared to Dania and Orlando. So low that we often see "roofie"
posts by players on here from Miami. It affects the play also,
as I see MUCH less chulas and chic-chacs at Miami that at Dania.
Dania's top netting rarely even comes to play. The players usually
will hit the top walls instead, where the flags and old scoreboard
are instead of the roof, but still, I can imagine how tough it
could be to adjust.
Dania's court looks much, MUCH nicer than Miami's, but I still
prefer that wall Miami has. It disappoints me.... how much potential
the sport still has, but nothing seems to be changing. If you
walk into MJA you literally feel like you are going back in time.
