The number 1 thing I think every Jai Alai front that's left
should do is get UPDATED with current technology. The problem
is when you go to the frontons, you feel almost like you are back
in the 70's or 80's. I heard Dania just updated their systems,
and I did see they had two projection screens showing the video
feed so that is good, but these frontons need to get on Facebook,
Twitter, etc. and start promoting to people, especially young
people. That's how to save the sport - get young people actually
interested in it! Right now I bet if you asked 100 kids that were
10 years old what jai alai was, maybe 1 or 2, MAYBE 1 or 2, most
likely 0, would know what jai alai was.
I've never been to Orlando to see jai alai or to a Citrus tourney,
so I'm definitely going to come down with a few friends to check
it out. Hope to see everyone there!
