I usually go to Orlando every Thursday from around noon to
4pm. They only have the minimal staffing during the "off
season," so it's hard to get information. On occasion I'll
bump into Mr. Echaniz and he usually fills me in on the live jai
alai season, however I've not seen him in months. Then again,
I believe he is usually overseas for the summer partido season
which actually ended earlier than the norm, for players tied to
Dania and Miami, that is. I remember in years past, the players
did not return until November.
I'll try to get some information next week, but good luck to me,
because right now, there is literally no one to ask or anyone
who seems to know for sure. Of course, the main season is still
about 5 months away (if Orlando does have a main season in 2013),
but it is still early.
Mr. Priceline and Steve R usually have great information, so I'd
retty much take what either one says as fairly solid stuff. Funny
how Gino isn't posting on this...usually he has great information.
