Re(3): #448 - Should backcourters change baskets for Singles?

I think some players might be able to handle such a change, but few would try it since cestas cost a lot of money and jai alai players make (__*__) money.

Some guys are able to play either position and have a hard time choosing. If you are like 5'4" then you have to play front and be quick.

I never played pro, so hard for me to say.

Baseball players (utility guys) often play several positions. One guy can often play 1st or 3rd...I imagine the glove is different....some will play 2b, 3B, and SS....maybe use a different glove at 3rd?

Some can fill in at 5 positions (or even more).

I don't think it is ridiculous for a backcourtman to have a 'singles' cesta....but I don't think it is a common practice.

You'd have to be that guy that guy that has significant front court experience at a high level and is comfortable switching back to a frontcourt role in singles.
