Made the switch about a year ago. After not playing for 8 years
in CT, my old cestas were getting destroyed on Matt's court. Bought
a synthetic basket new for $200, and a year later, I haven't broken
even a piece, and that's playing at least every other week.
It is an adjustment. Catching is a little tougher, and I've found
that the ball doesn't go where you expect on the backhand at times.
All in all though, very satisfied.
