I would go with Elorza. James was a very good player, but he didn't play feature singles until the strike and its aftermath. Lasa and Gerny both played feature singles in Hartford's glory days, and when Elorza came part time, he did, too.

Of course, Hartford's roster was so stacked, that Zulaica, Urquiaga and Alberdi also didn't make the cut for feature singles.
