Its not that no-one down in S. Fl. plays amateur jai alai, truthfully Ive never heard of those places and Ive been part of the amateur scene for the past 30 something years. If NJAA is the old North Miami amateur then they play every day and get good crowds on the weekends. Amateur play is alive and well at Dania jai alai, its great that the management at Boyds tried something new and allowed amateur play and hopefully the new owners will keep it.
