Cuban attends the Citrus, gets blown away by the attendance,
decides to plunge. He investigates and purchases Miami Jai Alai
for a couple of mill or so, guts and rennovates the buliding,
gets landmark status attatched to the building, fixes the bathrooms,
installs a spa and a four star restaurant and attatches a covered
parking lot adjacent to the property; Contacts the jai alai orgs
in Spain and creates an international league of jai alai pelotaris
(ILJAP). Eventually arranges for Dania and Orlando to join his
league. The players create an Int'l Players Union - The Federation
of International Pelotaris Union (FIPU). The players go on strike
demanding a larger piece of the pie. Cuban, the Int'l Jai Alai
commisioner says no way and relocates his Mavericks to Guernica,
thus internationalizing the NBA...and bye bye to hi li!!! Turns
Miami into a shopping mall with a 24 plex including IMAX and 3D
theaters, also a P.F. Changs and a few other top name restaurants.
He then sells his interest and retires.
So it goes...
