I remember Garby. But wasn't there a frontcourter at the same time named Steve who was even worse than Garby? I think the story on Steve was that he knew someone at Dania that got him the contract, but he was clearly not ready to play at even a decent amateur level....let alone pro. Don't think he lasted too long. There were players that Dania signed during the strike that were strictly plastic-ball court players at North Miami, then next day they are pro on the big Dania court. Crazy times.
