Don't know if I said it, but I'm searching the posting archives. However, it DOES sound like something I would say. Maybe LIAR is a bit too strong, but we all know folks tend to forget their bad days and remember, if not exaggerate, their good ones.
When you figure your $1 bet is whittled down to 75 cents before the first serve, the obstacles to success are huge. You have to beat not only the takeout, but also the other bettors, some of whom may echo your bets.
