I have played outside with a Sako ball wich is easy on the cesta but you do not get much bounce.
The lacrosse ball i have played with outside also it has a great bounce but damages Cesta's big time.
At N.Miami Amateur i have played with both the rubber ball and the hard plastic and i prefer the hard plastic because you get a true bounce, that rubber ball is all over the place.
Nothing beats being on the Dania or Orlando courts with the real pelota to me.
