I'd like to add that jai alai officiating, and the rules governing it, REALLY stir the pot on fixed calls. For example, please name me ANY other professional sport, besides jai alai, where a PLAYER...even the player's brother involved in a point...can step on the court and be a fill-in judge for that game. INSANELY RIDICULOUS, and a huge pet peeve of mine. I say get the rules changed, and have two on-court refs, and after the serve, the overserve judge and move way to the left and play sort of as a mid-court judge. No more player refs.
