I think its all a pack of nonsense with this unnamed man. No contract could be drawn up and executed within a matter of days. Dont lawyers have to look at everything and sign off on it? Who would just walk in with a briefcase full of money and say "Ill take it"? Dont legal searches have to be conducted, doesnt the owner of any pari-mutual facility have to get a background check and get ok'd by the state. All these things can not be done in a matter of 3 or 4 days.
My guess is Mr. Soper had a change of heart and now will keep the fronton or maybe even he had no choice when the original buyer backet out. If someone backs out of a contract or the contract is voided for whatever reason and their are no other buyers in line it remains your property.
