A referee at Dania once told me that during a performance in the 70's a long point was being played. Maybe after about 10 or 12 catches and returns in a row the frontcourter caught a ball and threw it to the backcourt and his own teammate caught the ball and returned it. Play was never stopped and nothing was ever said. Play just went on like nothing ever happened. I guess not too many people noticed that one.

In my own experinece i placed a bet at dania in the last game of the performance and my team won the game but I was involved in a playoff for the trifecta for show position. Post one was playing post three and I needed post three to win the playoff point so I could win my bet. Well the inevitable happened to me as in all playoffs the one beat the three and I lost the playoff. I looked at the scoreboard to see what I would of won and to get mad like I usually do but to my surprise the the Three team was posted as the show winner and my losing ticket turned into a decent paying trifecta. I went as fast as I could to the window and cashed my ticket before any changes could be made. I even checked the results later and the error in the playoff stood. I never understood how that could have went undetected but I wasnt about to complain. I wonder what recourse there was for the people who had the one team to show in the trifecta and had thier winning tickets turn to losers. Once the game is declared official I think it stands and they are out of luck.
