Re(2): #310 - Do you support Miami's 11-game format?

There is no alternative. Miami used to bring in 8-10 extra guys to play summers while vacations and partido players were gone. They reduced that number year by year, and now they're playing a price. I would assume that the Miami brass figured the lost revenue of games 12 and 13 is less than adding help, but that may be a stretch, knowing what we do about Miami.

The only thing in Miami's defense is there would be a huge dropoff in any players added. Guys like Erik and Solaun II struggles against the top notch early gamers last year. That said, when there at least a few guys available (I'm sure Orbea would play?) it is absolutely confounding that they could have avoided their injury plague which got worse with each scratch.

Ultimately, Miami might want to think about doing a plant shutdown for one month each summer. It's not a novel concept, and theoretically, it could be used to make things start anew, revive dormant interest and to clean things up a little rather than just for the next tournament.

More likely, we'll be seeing more of this (and worse) in the summers to come.
