I dont remember my very first jai alai game but I do remember my very first trifecta that I won. I played a 3-5-7 $1.00 tri box in game 8 at Dania jai alai. I think the year was 1982 and the players were Gilbert, Javier II and Alcibar. It came in 5-3-7 and paid over $400 for the dollar ticket. I even remember where I was sitting in the audience. I was a teenager with a pocketfull of money and I thought I was on top of the world. No-one could tell me anything. Little did I know that was the beginning of my degeneration into the world of gambling. Then came all kinds of tri wheels and keys and to this day I dont think I ever hit a trifecta again using only a 3 number box.
