I don't see Miami closing. They have the neighborhood factor and they are supposedly getting some areas ready for slots.
Dania's situation is a lot murkier. A huge "canary in a coalmine" is letting a HR person run the place. However, Boyd hasn't shut them down so far, so that has to be taken as a plus. They could still scale down the operation more, though. For example, during the summer they could play more singles games rather than bring in players to replace those in Spain for the summer.
Ultimately, one of the two (probably Miami) will survive and cherry pick the top players and younger ones with potential, with many others scattering to the smaller frontons.
The short answer to this sturm and drang question is Miami was first, and will probably be last.
