A good and relevant question.
It depends on what you want to win. If you can find a situation where there is a combination or number uncovered or a number or the reverse with a number grossly overplayed, then there is the ability to make a little money.
The key word is "little", though. 2002 seems like high flying days compared to now with the pools. Florida attendance has continued downhill (and maybe even picked up steam) and lets not forget Connecticut...when Milford closed, there was a LOT of OTB business going down to Dania and Miami. Nearly 7 years later, I would be willing to bet that the numbers are halved, if not more. We're getting further removed from seeing the sport live and it is losing its luster. I know that I watch maybe 1/4 if not less of what I was doing 5 years ago. My life is a lot different than then (and is changing even more, likely later today), but I don't watch as much even during my free time.
