That is an interesting perspective re the "weak player"
One of the dynamics in singles games is that there are usually
one or more bottom dwellers who are simply outclassed. Their win
chances are not good anyway, but in 5-6-7 forget about it.
So for them, the 1 post is clearly their best opportunity, and
it would not be surprising if they didn't have extra focus then
- at least on some occasions.
OTOH, the elite players in a singles game do not have to rely
on drawing post 1 for a win. They control their own destiny to
an extent and are probably more psyched to "amaze the world"
by running it out from post 7.
