IMO since they have went to the dime format, people can play 10
combinations for a buck right? SO that would mean that there would
be a 1 in 168 chance of winning off a 1 dollar bet. So basically
what they have done is made the superfecta easier to hit on the
dollar then the tri. You can occassionally get a nice payout,
but generally they are pretty low paying. So basically it fits
somewhere between a perfecta and a tri. So maybe instead of calling
it a superfecta, they can call it the subfecta. I was actually
excited about this bet b4, but now i see that it has done nothing
but kill the super. I say bring back the carryovers(super/superfecta)
Which was nice because it was the only bet in jai alai that would
counter the high takeout.
Why cant they make the first three superfectas 1 dollar, and make
game 12 a 10 cent super. This is my theory, bring back the super
super, games 4 7 and 9 be 1 dollar minimum, with carryover. Game
12 would be a 10 cent super game. If by chance there was a carryover
from game 9 it would make this a Very interesting bet. I like
game 12 as it is, because its the 3rd leg of pick 3 and 2nd leg
of double, so the 10 cent super with possible carryover would
be an awesome addition to the championship doubles match. I think
this would increase the super pools and be alot more fun, and
give something for everyone.
