Orlando, for me, died when they went seasonal....It was a GREAT place when it was year round. This was truly the case during the super roster years 97-01 or so. Just take a moment and think about how strong those rosters really were. They were as strong as some of the better Tampa rosters, and the court was only a help for the action. I will always remember OJA for the BIG tri supers and weekly twin tris, the quinella odds board when it was working, the 14th game being an early and late game mix when payoffs could be huge and last but not least - the last fronton to have LIVE in house betting pools worth playing! Lastly, Joe Capello should be thanked 1000 times, as he was the driving force behind the race book construction that allows OJA to survive to this very day, he was the best and is truly missed by the sport of Jai-Alai.
