That's ALL we used to play. Perfecta overlays. We did very well doing it through the 70's and 80's. Then came the $1 perfectas and suddenly there were very few overlays anymore. I know the $1 bets have gotten rid of sooo many of the bigger bettors so I hope the frontons can survive on the bettors playing a couple of bucks a game. I know we used to play between 15 and 18 perfectas a game - $45 to $54 per game, every night. From following the results from the past ten or fifteen years, as opposed to being very few LOSING days, there are now very few WINNING days.
