I'll almost always jump on the late-gamer in an early game...sometimes
it works out (Luis yesterday) and sometimes it doesn't (Tevin
on Sunday). Usually I feel that even if the late-gamer doesn't
play 100%, I will still have a good chance if he will at least
catch the ball.
The early-gamer in the late games...sometimes I will play that
one too. If the other partner is a dominant one, sometimes the
dominant player will play extra hard knowing he has to cover for
his weaker partner. You saw Lopez doing this today at Miami with
Reveles in game 12 (I think). Reveles obviously isn't one of the
best early gamers at this point in his career, yet he had the
best backcourt and a good post. Would have had that one if I were
playing today.
