I would really like to see a company get partidos to qualify as
required performances. Run partidos to keep the roster down. Create
a fairly large seating area and put a large local restaurant over
looking the cancha. We have OutBack Headquarters here and the
Columbia Rest. They should be able to come up with some fine dining
and keep their cutomers entertained with the action. You could
probably get away with a cover charge if you made it nice enough.
Require a dress code for evening performances. Keep the simulcast
area far away from the live jaialai. I like this format to keep
the patrons around the game unlike slots and cards. The patrons
will still bet on slots after their finished dining and betting
on jai alai.
As far as location I like somewhere around the boyscout area. Alot
going on around that area, the Air Port, International Plaza,
Westshore Plaza, Tampa Stadium, Mons Venus. I-275 to Pinellas
and hillsborough. Veterans Expressway to nort Tampa and beyond.
