They tried the single point game in Miami, i think it was 98,or 99.For what i remember it didn't work because the gamblers [not the fans] want to know the result fast. They are not there for the sport, just to bet. And i also remember that the players did not like it, because it was more work for the same amount of money. It was played with 6 teams.
