In doubles, I lean toward teams that have shown they can play well together.....although once the players have been on the court for a couple of games, I might gravitate toward a team whose members have looked good in their prior games that day. In singles, I like to play one of the top two players in the game, from a favorable post, But if I feel that there's a player in a not-so-favorable post who's head and shoulders the best in the game, I won't let the bad post stop me. Once I've picked the team or player I want to key on, I look for value with reasonable number combinations with that team or player on top. If the prices are too short on the combos I like, I'll look for value elsewhere.
