Your journal, by itself, would be flimsy. Add annotated programs
with matching dates and you've got it nailed. If you've got tickets,
too, that's fine, but they don't tell the whole story.
For example, you have no official (hard copy) record of winners
that weren't signers. You also don't get back your ticket that
had multiple bets, but only one winner.
So, that brings us back to the journal and your sworn testimony
(affidavit), which I think you are undervaluing in its significance.
