All your points are valid, NW, but they apply equally to all the
players, not just the subs. Maybe, for a newbie, it's an extra
opportunity to impress, but he gets that when he's not
a sub, too.
It's not like he's a rookie just up from Triple A who's just itching
to get into a game - he's probably gonna be in 5 other games, anyway.
But, is it different for a sub? I guess I'm making the
case that it's just another game.
