as you know,sometimes a player always wants to win in front of
someone special in the crowd who is there to see you play.
i can remember a few players that i played with when they would
"side bar" with me and saying how much they needed to
win because of family or girlsfriends in the crowd.
it didnt work out alot, but when it did it was a great feeling!
true story....one time i was playing with greg in post 7 and as
we did the pre-game march, greg turned to me to tell me we were
99-1 on the odds board, i looked up and there it was,,,,so i kinda
took it personal and played my ass off. we ended up running out
the game and i remember greg telling me that the win ticket was
one of the highest at 183.00 for the win price.
i would give my left nut to go back to play that day!
