I seemed to have missed seeing this question somehow.
When I bet, I do not bet the 6/8 but it is in my tri key which is:
8 w/ 6 w/ 3,4,5
I know, a terrible bet with the odds but I have won big on it
once. I am up on that combo just from hitting it once. 8-6-5 paid
$1200 for a $2 bet 
Years back I used to box the 3/6/8 Quinella and took a beating.
When it did come out it payed very well.
