Re(1): What about Texas

2007 brings the fate that the Texas administrators determine that there is not an audience close to expectations and that Texas, like Florida, has too many options for the entertainment dollar. Furthermore, they realize that you cannot run a gaming operation anymore without offering a diverse array of options to the players, so granting him millions upon millions will not be an attractive option, as he is seeking totally public funding for his projects. Mr. Coleman has gone on record as saying he will not offer Poker or Slots, and therefore will not be able to pay the bills. His handle would have to be at least $300,000 every performance WITHOUT simulcast dollars to pay the roster and employees. So, to answer your query, Texas is still on the table, I just don't know how the administrators of the state and municipality can justify the expense of a publicly funded project like this. I don't believe that any gambling facility (Pari) has ever been funded with public funds.
