Back in the day I used to adjust for post positions and lean towards win/place performance over the previous 27 matches. I think I leaned towards a greater number of matches because the "hot" guy usually would revert to norm, anyways, if he was that hot it was difficult to get an overlay. There were times I wished I just rode a hot streak though. When Lander started at Milford I think he won 6 matches between Mat & Eve. Then one time I was present for Mendi winning 5 at Hartford....those were the days.....
