Thanks for your posts Randy. Sorry to hear the news of your partner. I applaude your efforts to resurect USA jai alai. When ever anyone tries something it always seems to fall on deaf ears. I remember back in the mid to late 90's Richard Brownlow attempted to get a US team together to compete but to no avail. The Crab should remember him. He was in conctact with the Federation Of Pelota, I really don't know all the details but it didn't work out. Now I guess I don't have to make the trip to Amatuer Jai Alai to check out the trophy. Also in regards to the trophy, If anyone has ever seen it, it contains all the US champions up until I think 1986. It really is the history of United States jai alai. (Randy, Joey, Billy, Scott, Marshall, the Boornazians, JJ, Ramon, I know I'm leaving a lot out) It really deserves a better fate then just sitting in some old dusty case. I wish there was some place that our history of the sport can be saved and recognized. And I know Mark K. has an extensive collection and is always willing to show people but it just doesn't seem the same.
