I bought my first cesta in 1981 at American Amateur Jai-Alai in Milford, and I think I paid $40 for it. It was a backcourt cesta, but I have no idea which player it might have belonged to. I do not still have it. I sold it to a friend when I bought my second cesta, a faster frontcourt basket which had been used by Barquin at Hartford. I think that one cost me $55, and I also bought it at AAJA in Milford. I still have that one, 25 years later, but I don't use it any more.
