OK, this isn't going to shock anybody (considering my handle) but
Miami for sure...
My positives are many others negatives...
I like the fact that the building is old and has a strange smell...I
like the fact that the 14 fans that are there are knowledgeable
and that their comments (more often than not in Spanish) are off
the hip and not PC...I like that they raz referees for bad calls...I
like that cuban coffee is available for $0.50...I like that a
quinela of Goiko and Rekalde pays $12 even if it is 5-6 or 7-8....I
like that Tevin tracks everything down and that Garro and Art
send it back time after time...I like Rekalde ending points when
he can and not looking for pretty shots...I like that people aren't
more concerned betting race horses in Australia...I like that
there are no children bussed in for matinees nor does the retirement
home bus show up on Wednesday night...I like that Cisneros makes
me say "Holy S***" every performance (admittedly not
always a good thing)...I like that Reveles still freezes opposing
frountcourters...I like that Irastorza plays here and that Goiko plays here and that Areito can beat
them both in singles...
Maybe I prefer gambling on Jai Alai at Dania but I certainly prefer
experiencing Jai Alai at Miami
