The point I was trying to make is right now Hamilton has invested
millions and millions, and even more will be invested. The handle
for jai-alai is virtually zippo. Do they STAND PAT or do they try
simulcasting.
I realize 4 & 12 cent dollars,won't make it either for Hamilton
right now.
But and here's my point, I would imagine by simulcasting building
the pools,IN HOUSE attendance will come back, and now your looking
at approx 25% & 28%. If they don't simulcast how are they going
to get the fans in,with NO pools, the answer NO WAY..
And let's NOT forget, they will be sending out their own signal
in time, and as I recall years ago when Hialeah Race Track was
in this situation they installed PHONE BETTING right at the track.
I don't have the exact answer, but I'm sure their is one, maybe
Orlando would be the first one to take the signal and what about
some hubs in Mexico.
And also remember Miami Jai-Alai is not guaranted to be around
in 2008, it could leave us fast if slots don't get approved just
leaving Dania in the cat bird seat,or making room for Hamilton!
