Just today I had lunch at the Old Hickory House here in Charlotte. Had the pork platter with brunswick stew and hush puppies and a sweet tea, don't know that it gets any better than that. Bill Spoon's BBQ is another favorite in the Charlotte area. It's hard to beat Lexington though, that's pretty much known as the best for great barbecue. Haven't been to Jimmy's, I think last time I was up that way I went to Gary's....just follow the billboards off the highway. Good stuff.
