They just played together recently, and I saw there win odds,
all together as a pair are actually 1 in 2, so they really win
50% of the time, all post positions considered to date. So does
another pair at Miami, but I forget who.
I'd play what I call my "sensible" trifectas, which
is all but the following: 2-3-4, 2-4-5, 2-6-8, 2-8-1, 2//56, 2//67
or 2//78. The rest I play...cost is $32.00. It seems so many times,
a really strong teams win, the 2nd time in and it ends up being
something other than the house favorite 2//14 or 2//15, etc. 2-1-8
comes in more often than it used to, so does 2-5-4, etc. So, I'd
go for it on that account.
