Hmmmm.....I dunno, Dan.....seems to me that errors are just as
likely to end the game sooner as they are to force more rotations......especially
when I need the game to go longer to have a chance to win.
When I was a once a week customer at Bridgeport/Milford, I always
had far more success in the late games. It got to the point where
I would just watch the first seven games, and then bring out the
cash for the second half of the performance.
As for Joe Public.....I don't really think that's even a consideration
any more. These days, in my opinion, most people who bet on jai-alai
actually know at least a little something about the game. It's
not like the old days, when you had loads of people betting who
didn't know squat. There are still a few of those around, but
they make up a much smaller percentage of the betting population
than they used to. Whether it's early games or late, we're not
going to get overlays on the logical favorites like we often did
twenty years ago.
