I remeber when the 2-3 quinela was cold I think it was the fall of 1995, other people at the fronton were talking about it because they printed the gold sheet daily that would print how long it was since each combo came out. I remember standing on the second floor on the sunday matinee and some guy was chasing the number, I saw a ticket for each game, 20 dollar quinela and increasing each game throughout the performanceup to a $50 quin. Anyway it finally came out the next day on the nite performance, also there was a guy there with blond hair and wore a tan jacket and the tellers nicknamed him jimmy 2/3 because that's all he would play. They must have broke him for awhile during that streak. I basically try to handicap the players, but i also will run more common numbers. my mother was a teller at milford for 20 years and when she saw the regular customers she alot of times could remember the number they bet but couldn't tell you their name.
