I have seen for my self that more money is bet on a late game
player when he is subing in a weaker game. However I am talkig
about the days when there was a much bigger handle. At that time
if the right sub was in the right spot and he won the pay out
would be much less becouse a lot more money would be bet on him.
Also I know that in the 80's the player manager was told by owners
to put the best singels players in a weaker singels game so more
people would bet on the game and the handle would be higher, and
it worked.
If you got a player subing way before his 1st game started he
may not warm up good and not try so he would not tighten up by
the time his games started, and that could cost the guy betting
a few $$$.
