Re(1): #86 - Are there more runouts in early games?

I remember when a team ran a game straight out, even from post 8, it got standing ovations from the crowd, because back in the 80's and early 90's it was extremely rare. Now, it occurs every day.

The early games offer run-outs so much more than the late games, if you ask me. You see a lot more "free" points, or "junk" points, GIVEN to a team these days in the earlier games, give some weaker players. One thing I don't like about SOME frontons, is that, sure, they put the weak players in the lower posts, and the stronger teams in the higher posts, but all that does is FAVOR the higher post team. If they get in, they have no competition in the lower post 1, 2 or 3, and it's an easy run-out, a low pay, and not even worth the bet.

It seems you see a lot of 1 and 2 run-out in the early singles games too, and just in the earlier single games in general. Same reason.
