Hey Craig G,
You made me want to post when you brought up Arregui playing at
Palm Beach. I can remember going there on Sundays and watching
Arregui do his thing. That's picking the serve! I'd put him right
up there with the best of all time. At Palm Beach he'd take almost
every serve.
A quick story, a friend and I had game point for a nice tri and
low and behold we had to serve to Arregui.
I took the ticket from my friend's hand and before the pelota
left the cesta of the server, I tore it in half. Arregui didn't
prove me wrong....He went to work, took the serve and killed it.
As I watched the pelota cut off around the 2 line...our server
didn't even move, he turned for the players cage.
Arregui....!
