Take a look at the Citrus Invitational performance.....They play
some singles games in the afternoon for frontcourt and backcourt
separately..... later that evening, they play two more singles
games..... an all stars version and the other 8 guys that take
part........ how many backcourters are currently deemed good enough
to play with the frontcourters...... Any takers on this one????
Point 2...... emphyrio....... one must only go back to Elizegi
at Orlando during his final season to see a dominating win by
a backcourt player in singles championship race......The big difference
and what makes it unusual is that the Orlando court is made for
his strengths.... and made elizegi super human.......only goiko,
who can play anywhere was better than elizegi and with him gone
during elizegi's last year at orlando, it was easy pickins for
his game....
OH how much fun orlando had when only 3 short seasons ago they
had one of the best young late game rosters EVER.....and this
is at a smaller fronton.....santi put together such a roster,
that Leo and Erkiaga II(IBAI) two of the better young players
at Dania these days were only early gamers at Orlando.... something
special......especially when you consider that Robles and Gino
could be representing Orlando in the Citrus this year...... how
fast the mighty have fallen....
Look at that, an entire post without ripping on Cachin and Franco
Peugeot...maybe there is hope for Chula yet.....
Maybe Vic's liberalness is rubbing off on me......
